Privacy Policy

This is a demo document for the DEET Verify prototype. In production, this page would describe what information DEET Labs collects during product verification (such as scan location where legally permitted), how manufacturer data is protected under Row Level Security, how long scan and device data is retained, and how consumers can request their data be removed.

Key principles

• Consumers are not required to create an account to verify a product.
• Manufacturers receive aggregated scan intelligence, not individual consumer identities, unless a legitimate investigation requires more.
• Scan location and device information are treated as sensitive and access-limited.
• DEET Labs collects only the information necessary to operate the verification and fraud-detection engine.
